Pudsey the dog's owner replaces the dead Britain's Got Talent star with a new pooch - who she is renaming PUDSEY

Ashleigh Butler's other dog Sully, pictured right - a world agility champion - will now 'become' the deceased pooch while taking on his many showbiz and panto commitments under the name Pudsey. Sully - a world agility champion who has won a Crufts round - will 'emulate' the dog's star qualities to 'bring joy to as many families as Pudsey was able to do'. Professor Jonathan Shalit, who represents the act, told The Sun: 'Pudsey's passing has saddened us all. He was a remarkable dog. The combination of Ashleigh and Pudsey was magical. However, we're pleased to say that like Lassie and James Bond, Sully will now emulate Pudsey to entertain and bring joy to as many families as Pudsey was able to do.' Ashleigh, who won Britain's Got Talent with the dog in 2012, said that she was 'heartbroken' at the pooch's passing at the age of 11. Pudsey was put down after suffering from acute leukaemia and was looking into her eyes as he died at a vet's practice, Miss Butler's family said.
